Privacy policy.

This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information MARKA receives through this website, what we do with it and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

This website, marka.mt, is operated by Marka.mt (“MARKA”, “we”, “us”), a marketing, content and web studio and a partnership registered in Malta, based at Triq San Pawl, Naxxar NXR 4013, Malta (VAT No. MT29770106). For anything related to your personal information, contact us at info@marka.mt or on +356 7900 5399.

2. What information we receive

When you contact us using the form on our homepage, by email or on WhatsApp, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), the services you are interested in and anything else you include in your message. Messages sent through the contact form are emailed directly to us. The form does not store anything on this website itself. This website has no accounts or newsletter sign-ups.

3. How we use it

We use the information you send us only to reply to your enquiry, to prepare quotes and to provide any services you ask us for. Our legal basis is your request to be contacted and, where we work together, the performance of our agreement with you.

4. We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with trusted providers and specialists we rely on to run our business and deliver projects, such as our email, messaging and hosting providers and the professionals we work with on your project, and only as far as needed, or where the law requires it.

5. Cookies and third parties

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with them as part of that request. If you message us on WhatsApp, your message is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows. Where we are legally required to keep records, for example for accounting and tax purposes under Maltese law, we keep them for the period the law requires. After that, we delete it.

7. Your rights and how to request deletion

Under the GDPR you have rights including to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, simply email info@marka.mt. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can also complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
